A recent opinion by Blake Sanders, a writer for the Broadband Expert, discusses how future Windows-based tablets will appeal to existing iPad users.
In his article, Blake makes three main points.
1) New windows-based tablets (windows 8 in particular) will put "Computing" back in to mobile computing.
*Cutting edge windows tablets will be fully functional computers
that will include processing intensive programs
2) "Versatility and Velocity"
*Windows 8 will be capable of working on desktops, laptops as well
as on a tablet.
*Windows 8 has been optimized for touchscreen devices that use
ARM based technology.
*Future windows based tablets will utilize Hyper-V and USB 3.0
*8 Second Boot-up time
3) Support
*Apple has painfully restricted third-party development.
*Microsoft will continue to offer third-party support.
